We all struggle sometimes.  Finding a community of those who care and understand can help us find solace and comfort when grief gets the best of us.  Our readers have contributed the following resources to help those who are grieving find an understanding nod, a sympathetic smile and a helpful hand.

CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization providing the oldest, most widely used free online service connecting patients to friends and families.  It is an incredible resource for families spread across the country or the world to keep in-touch or up to date.

This website, a tribute to their sons Drew and Jeremiah is the perfect example of how hope can rebuild, repair and return us to the journey.   Bereaved parents Rosemary and Luther's extraordinary generosity to the bereaved  all over the world is an inspiration.

Suicide is often the least understood aspect of loss, but it is often the most difficult of roads for the survivor.  This site helps to put suicide into perspective for those who are grieving, and offers insights for people who may consider suicide.

Founded in Coventry, England in 1969, The Compassionate friends remains a hallmark for those dealing with the loss of a child, with chapters all over the world.  TCF welcomes bereaved parents of any age child, and the site is an excellent resource for finding understanding and hope from other parents. There is also a locater to find a TCF in your area.

This is a very comprehensive site for those mourning the loss of a beloved pet.  Called the "cyber shoulder for grieving pet owners,"  this site has chat forums and resources to other important and helpful sites.  A very ambitious and thoughtful site.
